Park Avenue Nursery School opened as Park Avenue Day Nursery in 1992 when my first child was two years old and I realised that there was a huge need for good pre-school care and education.

The change of name in 1997 was due to developments resulting from the Nursery Education Scheme. It was felt that ‘Nursery School’ more appropriately described our improved educational provision.

Naturally I am very proud of the nursery, and proud of the children and staff in it, who are the best evidence for what the nursery cares about, quality of education, care of individuals and a friendly and safe environment for young children.
